Easy trick: how to remove car oil filter without any proper or special tools.
Lear how to quickly and easily remove engine oil filter in your car when you are in a pinch and don't have a proper oil filter removal tool or any special equipment. All you need is just a hammer and long flathead screwdriver. Hammer in the screwdriver into the housing of the filter, preferably towards the top and little bit off the center, to avoid damaging threads on the mounting shaft. Pierce the filter all the way through, and then turn the handle to loosen the filter. Take out the screw driver and finish unscrewing oil filter by hand. All set.

Thank you! It is helpful to take apart and add the cushion. Is there a video on how to reassemble it?
do you think it'll be the same for a 2005 camry?
Thank you so much 🙏🏻
My clamp broke in half. Lol. But it is 18 years old. First bulb changed in the truck since I bought it in 2006. This one has taken a licking and I’m thankful it’s still ticking. I was able to get the majority side of clamp to still clamp, so that’ll do. Right?😂😂

Man it was a struggle getting the retaining pins off with just a flathead
Amazon says the affiliate linked bulbs do not fit a 2009 Tacoma.
Be super careful when doing this. In some cars, the rubber grommet for the main harness is NOT sold separately. So if you split it, you're going to have to get a new harness which is a $2500+ job.
Just leaving a comment to thank you for a quick straightforward video. Helps someone like me who doesn't know anything about cars quite a lot!
In my vehicle (2003 hyundai accent) there is no easily accessible grommet without taking apart my whole dash. Every amp/sub install video has stuff like this where it’s right under.
How did you fit it in so easily, it keeps getting stuck somewhere when I’m trying to put it back in?
Instead of messing with settings, can buy or get the metal clip from another seat belt. Just plug that in. Won’t have to change settings and just pop it out when needed.
Didn’t work for Tundra 2014.
Thank you very much for posting ! Another commenter saved 👍
2016 not going into set up mode
Thanks a lot i where stresed two days and i decide to fix and it works same stone in dust cover Many Thanks For that video ❤❤❤
CONSUMER ALERT: i bought the Camry 2018 based on the reputation of Toyota 20 years hearing from friends and relatives. The car has run well - except for the tires - but BEWARE - the car is designed with LDA Collision Sensors on the Hot Windshield? So the temp. hits 90 and there goes the Christmas Lights and written alert - 3 alerts and check lights. Why design on a hot Windshield? I did the Brake Recall 2022, and the alert problems started, and is like walking on Eggs seeing all these alerts - then temp. hits 85 or so and the 3 alerts go off - and even a couple of times after days the alerts are off - and then the check lights go off to, so I did not go to a dealer...YET. But like clockwork, 90-92 degree - so Toyota designed a system that does not work so what is the solution? I wonder if Toyota knows - you cannot even email them any longer - so the reputation goes South. THEN...when you think you heard all - I did research and Toyota (like many OEMs) puts creates another problem - sensors behind the LOGO smack in the middle of the front BUMPER. Bumpers are for Bumping - not for sensors. One tape and a $300 Bumper Repair Job is thousands of dollars - who in their right rational Mind puts Sensors on a front and back bumper. I'd advise consumers to research - do not buy models with nonsense sensors that you did without over a lifetime with sensors on bumpers....this is so basic. Let me see - can you picture a Design Engineer talking about designs - where can I put sensors to create more problems for the user. Well, we got away with making cars hard to work on (more of an issue with other OEMs). Yes, hiding Spark Plugs, hiding Thermostats and Water Hoses - even putting in a short Water Hose behind Alternators on GM cars (Buick of years ago) - and just not allowing space to easily work on cars - even hiding Oil Filters and Oil Drain Plugs. Speak out. But I cannot see a way to email Toyota. Why destroy a reputation of decades with sensors in wrong spots - can't sensors be higher on Hoods or a roof? Why right in front in the most vulnerable spot???? Why - because they want you in the shop. I like the Camry, and like more the Avalon which I've heard has not been made after 2022 - one of the most neat cars. But do not continue to create headaches for the consumer.
Doesnt work
I had no idea on how to check and see if my TPMS is bad or low on air. Now I know at least one is bad because a while back I had a flat tire must had caused it. Thanks.
If it was glued, why do the trouble of disassembling the whole set. Just fry out the top and glue it back. And tell what that car model is because every car model have diff arm rest
Today I put watermelon in the back of my Hyundai Sonata. The watermelon was moving at times during braking time and since then the passenger's airbag seems to be off. Now what can I do and can I fix it myself or do I have to take help from a mechanic?

Worked on my 2004 Highlander. Bought a combo key from Bay and had it cut by a local HW store. The person helping me said there was no charge but I gave him a nice tip. Even though everything worked out for me your advice to program the key BEFORE cutting makes lots of sense. Programming didn't work on the first attempt and I got a little concerned. Let me know you read this and I'll send a tip your way as well!!$
Thanks for sharing! I’m glad it helped!
@@DIYtimeTRD Programmed the remote today. Both remote and transponder work now!
Perfect! It is so easy, I used to make 3-4 copies for my Toyota, one fir wife, one for stay home, one for hidden magnetic box in case of emergency…
Cheers, saved me a lot of £ Sterling and a worried brow.
why is it so difficult to set the toyota passo sette model. so far I haven't succeeded in doing the smart key exchange or registration myself.
Were you registering new or used smart key? Used keys must be erased first.
This method is for North American region cars. They might have different on board computer systems, compared to your country.

Thank you so much. This is just what I needed!
Not much
Excellent video. Went much quicker than I expected it to. I already had a set of plastic spudgers, but I suggest to anyone doing this job that it will make it easier, and less risky to use these types of tools.
just what I needed!!!
This video sucks
You saved my life by clearly showing the spring wire clip's orientation at 0:55 - THANK YOU. Mine came out on the passenger side and I almost lost it. It was really damn hard to get back in because that spot by the washer fluid tank leaves NO space, and you can't see the socket area hardly at all! I got extremely lucky and after some panic, and a lot of patient tries over and over again-- I freaking got that sucker back in and clipped the new bulb in tight. Hallelujah!
Perfect. Saved me $130. Thanks
My lid wont go back on and i watched the video solely for that and you did mot even show it. Wsste of time
